If you’re not a lifehacker junkie already then you really need to start shooting up Gina Tripiani and co’s GTD and just general lifehacking goodness on a daily basis.
This latest Gmail hack comes in the form of a bonafide Firefox extension instead of all those pesky greasemonkey scripts that even I don’t bother with. Follow this white rabbit:
Click the Better Gmail download link in Firefox.
Allow the install/popup in firefox and then install it. For your trust you will get and assortment of goodies that might just make your gmail life a little easier. Here’s a pic of the prefs you get:

Come to think of it, I have used a couple of the Gmail FF extension and they really are quite useless. If you take a look at that pic up there and ask yourself will this really enhance my gmail experience or just confuse me until I uninstall it, you might be leanin towards not bothering to install it. However, if you have no clue what those options mean, then you might want to take a look at it, but its no rush.
Good on ya to all the folks who contributed to the FF extension, I know that putting all that crap together can be a pain. Its a great extension for those that need the extra visual aides and aren’t so computer savvy. It also moves everyone towards the ultimate goal of NOT downloading email to your personal machine before having to read it. That’s how viruses get around you know 😉
