The people who posted this are total ASSHOLES. This poor young guy obviously wanted to remain anonymous. Yet “pASSionate America” went to great lengths to find out one of the persons involved in being sexually harassed by ex republican asshole congressman, Mark “I Like Little Boys” Foley.
Now this could just be me flying off the handle here, but the one thing these kids were (and now are) afraid of, was this incident making them infamous and unemployable in the political circuit. That’s why they held on to this painful tragedy for so long without so much as a word. They were terrified, and pASSionate America only served to give their fears merit, by pushing to release this one persons information (including where the person works now). If you are so “Passionate” about America, what about someones right to privacy?? If you cared at all about what these children had to endure you would not have posted this information. It is because of people like you that many many molestation victims NEVER come forward. You should rot in your own filth while bathing in shame.
Passionate America’s post needs to be taken down. Not by the government, not by big business, but by fellow bloggers that resent the type of sensationalist reporting that Passionate America has engaged in.
I’d like to issue a giant FUCK YOU to Passionate America and its writers.

At 9pm Tuesday night Ms. Underestimated made the find that shocked me and her. (Victim name removed) is currently working as (information removed by MLM Liberal) here in Oklahoma City. Here is his mysapce page that has everything and proves that (victim name removed) is also the other person in these instant messages with Mark Foley the perv.
I work for the Ohio Department of Public Safety, which includes the Ohio State Highway Patrol. While I am not abreast on Ohio law in this matter, the fact that the individual, regardless of age, was one of victims in this case makes me believe William Kerr and Ms. Underestimated may have committed a crime in Oklahoma.
I have already flagged this blog for Mr. Kerr’s posting. And as one who works with law enforcement officers on a daily basis, I believe it is in your best interest legally to remove Mr. Kerr’s blog.
On my end, I will be contacting one of my co-workers in Ohio Homeland Security to seek input as to whether anything illegal has actually taken place.

MLM Liberal was tipped off by Raw Story about William Kerr’s posting. MLM Liberal has sent Raw Story an e-mail tipping them off about the reposting. The piece below is the update posted by Raw Story as of 6 p.m. EDT.
The blog Passionate America has revealed the identity and published a photograph of an alleged victim of disgraced Rep. Mark Foley in a post that was pulled and later re-posted with additional information.
RAW STORY can verify that the young man in question is not the Congressional page from the emails that originally surfaced; with that in mind, a direct link to the Passionate America post is not provided here.
RAW STORY has learned that the recipient of the Foley emails is currently 17 (and was 16 at the time of the correspondence).
Passionate America contends that the young man they identified took part in some of the instant message conversations obtained by ABC news. In those messages, the boy explicitly identified himself as being under the age of 18.
If the boy was over the age of 18 at the time of the messages, Foley’s communication with him would likely still be considered criminal. Sex predator legislation is generally written bearing in mind that law enforcement sting operations rely on undercover officers pretending to be minors.
However, even if he is now 21, the man identified could still have been as young as 16 at the time of the messages. ABC has stated that they are in possession of chat logs from as much as five years back.

You’re just pissed cause this reveals that Foley was only guilty of unprofessional behavior with another adult. Sort of like Clinton.
i believe the point is that the young man may not have been a minor at the time, contrary to what had been reported by ABC News (nevertheless in my opinion, in either case Foley is scum)…otherwise, yes, privacy should be preserved but not at the expense of truthful and honest reporting…

Stop pretending that it only had to do with what he wanted for this birthday and start looking at the actual transcripts.
